Fall camp is now just TWO days away! On this episode, host Max Torres previews what's in store for the Oregon defense in 2022. The Ducks have a bunch of talent at every level of their defense, but there's varying levels of production and experience. Starting up front, expectations are high for the defensive line with returning veterans like Brandon Dorlus, Popo Aumavae and Keyon Ware-Hudson. They're joined by newcomer and Washington transfer Sam 'Taki' Taimani. Moving back to the linebackers, Noah Sewell and Justin Flowe headline what is one of the most talented linebacker corps in the entire country. Behind them you have some very promising young talent in Jeffrey Bassa, Jackson LaDuke and Keith Brown. Oregon also added speedsters Harrison Taggart and Devon Jackson, who could see the field sooner than later with their crazy speed. DJ Johnson and Bradyn Swinson look like they could be the answer for pass rusher as the defense looks to fill the void created by Kayvon Thibodeaux's departure. In the secondary Bennett Williams boasts the most experience at safety, while the Ducks hope of breakouts by Trikweze Bridges, Jamal Hill and Steve Stephens IV among others. Cornerback is the youngest position group and looks like it will be led by Colorado transfer Christian Gonzalez while they hope for some younger and newer faces to step up like Dontae Manning and Jahlil Florence.
